Oasis Intergenerational Tutoring Program Materials

Oasis promotes healthy aging by helping thousands of older adults across the country satisfy their curiosity, take charge of their health, and discover the joy of giving back to their communities. Their Intergenerational Tutoring program pairs a volunteer tutor with a child in kindergarten to grade 3, forming a mentoring relationship to improve the child’s reading ability.

I worked with the client to develop tutor training and resource materials (images 1 and 2), student materials (image 3), and program marketing materials (image 4). These materials were produced in print form, and items such as the Facilitators Manual were also provided as bookmarked and linked PDF documents. Worksheets were designed as fillable forms as well as hard copy, and marketing materials featured customizable templates for marketing efforts in individual Oasis offices across the nation.

Tutor training and resource materials are designed to be easy to use, and the student materials are colorful and engaging. The overall look of the program materials ties in with the organization’s established branding.
